General Approach

Open four-card majors in all seats.
Open the higher of long suits of equal length: 5-5 or 6-6.
Normally open the lower of two four-card suits.
With three four-card suits open 1♣ with a red singleton, open 1 with 1=4=4=4 and open 1 with 4=4=4=1
Notrump openings show a balanced hand and usually does not contain a five-card major but can contain a five-card minor suit.
1NT = 12-14
2NT = 20-21
3NT = Gambling
Strong artificial 2♣ opening.
Multi 2
Weak two-suiter in hearts and spades.
